Guitar masters, roots rock and a ceramic showcase at EWU

While most of the Northwest is looking for something—anything—to get their minds off what happened on Sunday, we're happy to provide plenty of diversions in our event listings and Staff Picks

Here are some highlights for Monday, Feb. 2: 

LIVE BANDS | The Bing is hosting two incredible guitar players Monday night in Eric Johnson and Mike Stern. If you like eclectic, incredible playing, this show is for you. Here's a bit of what's in store: 
LIVE BANDS | Over at the Checkerboard Bar, you can hear more live tunes with Lost Dogma, a Seattle crew dealing in rootsy tunes. 

VISUAL ARTS | A new art show at EWU called Two by Two gathers the work of 12 U.S. and Canadian artists working with small-scale ceramic sculpture.
