I just stepped onto the elevator on the main floor of the Heart Institute,
when you came running into elevator. I just stood there looking at the
buttons, then stated "I have no idea where I'm going." You asked a few
questions and I told you I was there to meet up with family that I thought
might be on the 5th floor. You are incredibly cute, and so sweet, I however
was a lost and nervous wreck and became speechless next to you. I started
getting off on the 3rd floor, you grabbed my hand and told me "not so
fast." You then got off on the 5th floor with me and walked me to the
family waiting room at the end of the sky walk. I'm certain you went out of
your way to help me! You were wearing jeans and a baseball hat. I had my
hair pulled back into a bun and was wearing black yoga pants and a black
track jacket. We chatted for a brief second and then we parted ways, but
not before you gave me a wink. I wanted to turn stop you and ask you for
your last name, ask if you're single, or ask if you'd like to grab
something to drink, but I was struck with fear and awkwardness as my main
reason for being there was for my family, not to meet someone. I'm kicking
myself now! I haven't been able to get you off my mind, and if this finds
you, I would love to see you again. I have never done this before and
perhaps I need to just let it go, but our paths crossed once, so I'm hoping
the universe sees that they cross again!
