Not that the cassettes produced by local tape label, Leftist Nautical Antiques, are ever all that pricey but right now, they're even cheaper than usual. Whitworth sophomore Alex Davis (who runs LNA out of his dorm room), is throwing a Spring Break Sale: Get any five tapes for $16 and LNA will cover the shipping (if you're in the U.S.). Or, if five tapes are too much for your 1981 Panasonic RX-7700, there's also the Three Tape Triple Threat for $12.
In other LNA news, three brand-new tapes dropped yesterday and are all available: a self-titled one from Denver one-man shoegaze outfit Junior Low, "Corridor" from California popster Kevin Greenspon and "Prism Entrance" from ambient musician Carter Mullin. All limited-edition, all brand new. Buy online or check them out in person at Unified.
