Come on down! It's super colon time!

We have no doubt that the educational and awareness benefits are numerous. But so are the reasons to snicker. Ladies and gentleman, the eight-foot tall, 20-foot long Super Colon will be on display this Friday and Saturday at River Park Square. According to a Providence press release, the inflatable, tube-like organ "teaches people not only about the risks and symptoms of colorectal cancer, but that it is preventable, treatable and beatable!" 

Seems like a perfect opportunity for a photo op, right? Send pictures of you and the Super Colon to joels [at] inlander [dot] com.
