MORNING BRIEFING: Drug smugglers and Sony's new mega-cassette tape

Investigators believe more than 2 million oxycodone pills were smuggled into Spokane on flights by women with ties to an L.A. gang. The drug smuggling ring was busted back in 2013, and the trafficking took place over several years. (S-R)

Washington State University has filed disciplinary charges against the WSU chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority after some of its members were reported to have publicly urinated in a Coeur d'Alene park during a chapter-sponsored event. (KHQ)

Tragedy strikes Nigeria again, with new reports today saying that on Monday, the terrorist group Boko Haram attacked a remote village being used as a staging ground to find the more than 250 kidnapped schoolgirls. More than 300 people in the village were killed during the attack. (CNN)
