Chewelah’s favorite soul-singing son, Allen Stone, returns to the area to play the Knitting Factory Oct. 24. The Spokane show is the artist’s only Washington state date so far announced for his upcoming tour, and Bad Rabbits and The BGP will open for the event. Except to hear some new tunes from Stone off of his upcoming album that he’s titled Radius.
Just earlier this year, Stone was signed to Capitol Records and was named on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 music list.
According to Stone’s website, tickets should go on sale this Friday. Tickets will be priced at $20.
The Knitting Factory has been on fire recently with a slew of announcements. Minnesota hip-hop act Atmosphere comes through Sept. 14, then reggae-rapper Matisyahu on Oct. 14, and Georgia rockers Of Montreal on Oct. 11. Don’t forget about singer-songwriter Conor Oberst coming Sept. 28.
