NPR and StoryCorps revisit a Spokane school shooting featured in the Inlander

A while back, StoryCorps contacted the Inlander, saying they wanted to follow up on our 2004 story about a local school shooting that featured the student in question, Sean Fitzpatrick, and the police negotiator who tried to talk him down. StoryCorps reunited Fitzpatrick, who survived being shot by police, and John Gately, the Spokane officer who tried to pull him back from disaster.
