Terrorist attack in England
ISIS has claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing attack in Manchester, England that killed 22 people and injured 59 others after a Ariana Grande concert. It's the deadliest terrorist attack in Britain since 2005, when 52 people died in attacks on London's transit system. Among those who died in last night's attack were several children, and Georgina Callender, an 18-year-old Ariana Grande "superfan." (The Telegraph)

SPD officer's daughter charged
Last week, Spokane police said officer John Arredondo was put on administrative leave after a family member showed up to his house with a kidnapping victim. Arredondo drove the victim to the hospital and notified his supervisors about the abduction, according to police. Now, his daughter is charged with kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.
