The self checkout is an express lane! If you have so many items to scan that you  need a cart; or if you don't know how to locate the bar code on a can of soup; or if you have trouble counting money, swiping a debit card and/or entering a PIN; then you do not belong in the self checkout station. And a special extended jeers to the people who let their kids do the scanning and paying. These things are not games, take them to the arcade for that kind of crap.
