Playing Hide and Seek

Posted on Sat, Oct 27, 2012 at 8:23 AM

To the 20kknd teenagers (likely from West Valley) running amok throughout
our neighborhood from 11:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. the night of 10/19. I can
appreciate the fact that you were trying to 'have fun'
playing-hide-and-go-seek in people's yards, porches and driveways, evading
some 16-17 year old nut driving a large SUV around and screaming like he
was high. Really though, you were trespassing on people's properties, and
are very lucky you weren't shot because you scared somebody to death, or
the cops called because of your suspicious and immature behavior. I just
figured you were all having harmless (if not annoying) fun. Come to find
out there were acts of vandalism taking place in the neighborhood. I have a
pretty good idea who is at fault. Jeers to the parents who don't know how
to keep track of their kids, and jeers to the kids for being such complete
jerks. Things like this are why people never give teenagers the benefit of
the doubt.
