BANDS TO WATCH: Silver Treason

Posted By on Fri, May 20, 2011 at 10:56 AM

Day 2 in our countdown to VOLUME!

Today's video features Silver Treason — a band of longtime punk rockers who, a couple years ago, got hooked on the sounds of country. When three members of defunct alt-country band Burns Like Hellfire joined up with singer/songwriter Kevin Cameron, Silver Treason was born. Read about how the band thinks of punk rock and Western-style country in the same way here. And check out the video of Silver Treason below. And be sure to cut a rug during the band's set next Thursday at Volume (details below).

Thursday, May 26, we'll host Volume: The Inlander's Local Music Extravaganza, featuring our five Bands to Watch, who are featured in this week's Local Music Issue: Horse Thieves, Silver Treason, Whiskey Dick Mountain, Ocean and K. Clifton. The show is FREE. It's all-ages. Knitting Factory. Be there.
