HAPPY HOUR: It's Wednesday and starting to look like fall outside...

Posted By on Wed, Sep 12, 2012 at 3:02 PM

Each Wednesday on Bloglander, we give you a taste of happyhours going on at bars around town that night. (Read previous posts.)

As we all mourn the fading of summer and the fact that Friday isn’t yet here (keep your chin up – it’s forecasted to be back into the 80s this weekend), check out some of these Happy Hours going on across the town tonight to cheer you up.

Downtown at the Saranac Public House, catch happy hour specials today from 3-6 pm, or – if you can’t make that window – from 9 pm to closing. Treat yourself to $3.50 wells and micro pints, $4 house wine, and $2 domestic bottles and draft beer. Select apps are on special, too, including the Saranac’s yummy hummus plate for $6, the Margherita flatbread for $6, and chips and salsa for a mere $2.

On North Division as you climb up to the crest of the hill, stop off at Ferraro’s North for happy hour today from 2-6 pm with $1 off wells, 60 cents off draft beers and 25 cents off bottle beers.

In Spokane Valley, Max at Mirabeau hosts happy hour from 3-6 pm and again later from 9 pm to closing. Some of its specials include half-off select appetizers, $2.90 domestic beers, $3.90 imported beers and wells, $5 glasses of select wine, and $1 off martinis and seasonal drinks.

With several locations around Spokane, Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar is largely known for its specialty cocktails and martinis (hence the name). Stop by the South Hill Twigs after work between 3-6 pm or later tonight from 9 pm to close for $5 lemon drops, appletinis, mojitos, and Twigs’ signature vodka martinis. If beer is more your thing, Coors Light is on special for $3, as is Twigs Ale. Some of its small plate appetizers (flatbreads, fries) are also featured during happy hour for $5.

On the lower South Hill, longtime local favorite Lindaman’s is hosting a “welcome to fall”-themed happy hour of sorts, with $6 Sazaracs and Hazelnut Manhattans, as well as half-off bottles of Maryhill Winery’s red wine, making it $16. So, grab some friends and celebrate the starting of the season!
