In the wake of the Newtown tragedy, schools across the nation have been examining their security, asking if they could be better prepared for worst case scenarios.
The Coeur d'Alene school district has already requested over a million dollars to upgrade its security in the upcoming levy. Now, Spokane Public Schools has finished its latest security audit, asking some of the same questions.
In future bonds, expect Spokane schools to implement some of the same security improvements Coeur d'Alene is considering.
