As you may know, The Inlander is moving to a new home in Kendall Yards this summer. Photographer Young Kwak took photos back in February, and our publisher wrote about the progress in March when the construction crew installed the main staircase.

Last Thursday some of us from the editorial side took a little field trip to see how our new offices on the top floor are coming together. We kicked around in the dirt out back where the Centennial Trail will be coming through, and debated the feasibility of a zipline down the river.

Right when you get up the stairs to the top floor, you can look down over the entrance atrium. Editorial staff will be on this floor.

Workers were making progress on the south side of the building the morning we visited. The entrance on the east side of the building, to the right, leads to the first of three floors. Our next-door neighbor, on the left in this photo, is Spa Paradiso. Central Food is just another lot over in that direction.
