FIRST FRIDAY: Use this map to plan your night

Posted By on Fri, Jun 7, 2013 at 11:18 AM

New art has been hung at galleries, businesses and restaurants throughout downtown Spokane and beyond, ready for your viewing pleasure or critical eye. This month's First Friday offers the expected variety of media, but a few shows we think you should definitely stop by include the collaborative art show "Congomeration" at the Kolva-Sullivan Gallery (115 S. Adams St.) and the Spokane Falls Community College Graphic Design Club show "Monstrous '13" at Seven2 (224 W. Main Ave.). If you're near The Liberty Building checking out art at Auntie's, Sante or Pottery Place Plus, make sure to also head up the stairs to the mezzanine and resident businesses above that are showing art by Melissa Cole, Karen Mobley, students in SFCC's Fine Arts Program and a slew of other local artists.

Happy First Friday!
