COMMUNITY/VISUAL ARTS | Yet another example of Spokane's growing and thriving arts scene is
the arrival of Social Sketch for its first time in the Lilac City Thursday at The Bartlett. Bring your art supplies and a thirst for conversation (and beer, perhaps).
LIVE BANDS | This must be some sort of a record outside of a symphony orchestra or STYX — death-metal dudes Incantation has seen no less than 30 members since its inception in 1989. Damn! Metal is tough.
They play Thursday at The Hop!, along with Funerus, Rutah, In Defiance and Xingaia.
SPORTS & OUTDOORS | Love dogs? Love skiing? Why not have your pups (if they are of proper size and training, of course) pull you through the snow? REI is hosting
an informational session about "skijoring" where they'll cover all the basics. Like, exactly how many pugs would it take to pull a grown man up Mt. Spokane?
