Sexual harassment and coverup, legal claim says
A woman was sentenced to Stevens County's work crew, where the supervisor commented on her breasts, her intimate relationship with her husband and her "sex appeal," according to her legal claim. Then another employee worked to cover it up, the claim states.

The accused officer (though his attorney) has denied all wrongdoing and is now working as a school resource officer in the Reardon-Edwall School District.

More than 160 girls and women testified that Larry Nassar, a once respected sports doctor, tricked them into thinking sexual assault was medical care. Nassar took a plea deal and was sentenced to up to 175 years in prison.

So said Idaho's House Minority Leader Mat Erpelding in response to Reps. Ron Nate's and Heather Scott's efforts to entangle a routine tax bill with their opposition to same-sex marriage.

The Idaho Constitution still bars same-sex marriage, but that clause is powerless after multiple court decisions have legalized the unions, including the U.S. Supreme Court in 2015.

Scott, a right wing representative from Blanchard who campaigned holding a Confederate flag, argued that passing the tax bill and allowing gay marriage to continue would violate legislators' oaths to uphold the Constitution. (Spokesman-Review)
