I saw you drinking your beverage of choice out of a fresh paper sack. You
had a slicked back French braid, and smelled of hair spray and cigarette
smoke. I was the one with the layered cola and raspberry Slurpee to whom
you offered a "swig." I declined and you so generously gave me directions
to Truth Ministries. Though we only crossed stars for a brief moment in
time, I could not stop thinking of your kindness and generosity. I find
myself stopping by that same 7-Eleven and looking for your beverage sack
and smile.
