Spokane's Got Talent tomorrow!

Posted By on Fri, Sep 10, 2010 at 12:52 PM

The time has come, boys and girls, to see the very best of this year's Spokane's Got Talent competition. The local version of America's Got Talent has been holding auditions over the last couple of months, watching over 200 cheerleaders, comedians, singers, rappers, screamers and dancers do their thing in hopes of winning. The top prize is an all-expenses-paid trip to the regional audition for America's Got Talent.

The judges have boiled down the contestants to the 20 best acts — a list that features a little bit of everything: a rock band, a magician, a ventriloquist, a breakdancer, a comedian, a hula-hooper and a belly dancing troupe, among others. Check out the full list of contestants here.

If you've got six minutes, Red Eye Promotions (which organizes the event) has put together the video montage below of some of the auditions. You'll laugh out loud a few times, but overall, you'll see the heart and soul that goes into getting up onstage and taking a shot at fame.

The Spokane's Got Talent final takes place tomorrow, Sept. 11, at 6 pm at the Bing Crosby Theater. You can still nab some tickets here — they're $10. We'll report who takes home the prize next week.
