Monday Music: Hot Hot Heat/Hey Rosetta, We As Human

British Columbia's own Hot Hot Heat made it big with 2002's Make Up The Breakdown but are now touring behind their fifth album, Future Breeds. With their "synth-trashed, dance-throbbed" songs, their performance is not one to miss. Opening for the alternative rock band is Hey Rosetta!, who aren't too shabby themselves. Check out the story we did on them here. Catch the show tonight at Empyrean. Starts at 7 pm. All-ages. $12. Check out HHH's latest video below.

You might not have heard of We As Human. Don't worry: We hadn't, either. The local band doesn't play much in Spokane — but they're huge on the Christian music festival circuit nationwide. And tonight, they're putting it all on the line at the Service Station. Supposedly an A&R rep from Atlantic Records is making the trip up here to see the band — and if they play well, they might just be signing a contract with the label. The show starts at 7 pm. All-ages. $7. Check out their sound below.
