Slow down, McKenna — Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna is being criticized for using false statistics when he recently launched his gubernatorial campaign. His numbers showed a surprisingly quick growth in government, but they were wrong. (AP)

Idaho state senator gets wasted, steals truck, gets lost — John McGee, a former rising star in the Idaho GOP, got drunk on the golf course yesterday, decided to walk home, stole a truck and jackknifed in some random person's driveway. When confronted by the homeowner, he said he was looking for the "promised land." Maybe he found it in Ada County Jail. (Daily Weekly)
