Sallie Ford rocks Letterman

Posted By on Thu, Aug 4, 2011 at 10:22 AM

She's no Spokane native, but the kids in Sallie Ford & the Sound Outside sure seem like they live here. The band has played local stages several times over the last couple of years — first blowing people away at Terrain '09 with Ford's vintage voice and the band's tight, sock hop sound. When we talked to Sallie on the phone back then, she was nervous and giggly. Last night, though, Ford and her band were a well-oiled machine as they played the title track from Dirty Radio (see our review here) on Letterman — with a special solo by none other than Paul Shaffer (OMG!).

And — call me crazy — but even Letterman seems a little smitten by cute lil Sallie Ford, right?
