Foodie alert: The National Lentil Festival is featured in the July-August edition of Every Day with Rachael Ray.

The annual festival runs August 17-18 in Pullman. Festival highlights include a Friday night street fair, lentil parade, lentil cook-off, 5K fun run and softball tournament, microbrew tasting, live music and a pancake breakfast.
