Tickets went on sale today for four upcoming events to be held this fall at The Knitting Factory downtown.

Later that same week, on Sept. 29, Shpongle, an English psychedelic, synth-based music project, will be at The Knit. Tickets are $20, and it's an all-ages show.

You can also now purchase tickets to see Blue October, an alt-rock group from Houston, who's playing here on Nov. 4. Tickets are $22-$25.

November also will include a show on the 11th by Gwar, a heavy-metal band formed in the 80s that's known for elaborate horror-film inspired costumes, graphic performances, and obscene lyrics. Tickets are $23-$25.
