Badminton like a boss, or score a free Chiefs magnet

Every day you can find some great things to do in our event listings and via our Staff Picks

Here are some highlights for Wednesday, Jan. 7:

SPORTS & OUTDOORS | It's the first home game of the year for the Spokane Chiefs, and it's also Chiefs Player Magnet Night, so get there early to get some new decorations for your fridge.

SPORTS & OUTDOORS | One sure way to get rid of any winter blues? A little exercise, especially the kind that show's winter who's boss. Know how to do that? Take an outdoor sport indoors, like the Spokane Badminton Club does twice a week, including tonight. You can join the fun for just $6.

LIVE BANDS | Fernway headlines a show at the Big Dipper. The only information I could find was this strange band site. Color me intrigued.
