Ah, St. Patrick's Day, when amateurs overwhelm the bars for their annual Guinness or Jameson, and many of us avoid them because of those same amateurs. But this year, I'm encouraging you to go ahead and roll out for some fun, the kind you can find every day in our event listings and Staff Picks.
Here are some highlights, not necessarily holiday-related, for Tuesday, March 17:
LIVE BANDS | Home Free drops by The Bing, bringing their country-tinged a cappella stylings to town in the wake of their victory in December on TV show The Sing Off. Here's a bit of their vocal skills on display:
FOOD & DRINK | If you're out Republic way, consider a stop by Republic Brewing Co. for a traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner.
LIVE BANDS | Litz's Bar & Grill hosts some Irish music starting at 6 pm, courtesy of Keiligh Shillelagh and the ElektroKelts and the Angus Scott Pipe Band.
