• The Washington Supreme Court has ruled that Envision Spokane’s Community Bill of Rights, a perennial initiative the group has qualified for the ballot three times, is too broad and will not go before voters. Envision says it’s not giving up.

• Capt. Brad Arleth, who was placed on leave last month for moving furniture he shouldn’t have moved, has returned to work.

• O. Corbin Saleken, who was named Spokane International Film Festival's "Most Promising Filmmaker" last year, will screen his debut feature film tonight at The Bing Crosby Theater.
