Manatee Commune headlines the Bartlett on Thursday night.

A bevy of good times await when you peruse our event listings and Staff Picks, so you should totally do that. But if you don't have time, here are some highlights of the week ahead:

Monday, Nov. 13

FOOD | You don't want to watch sausage making, generally speaking, but doing it yourself? Hell, yes! Delicious sausage is the result! You can take a sausage-making class tonight at Second Harvest.

Tuesday, Nov. 14

THEATER | Join star Jamie Farr and see Tuesdays With Morrie at the INB tonight. He's Klinger from M*A*S*H, people; show some respect!

Wednesday, Nov. 15

WORDS | Spokane Public Radio brings Anne Garrels to town for a talk at the Bing. The longtime NPR Senior Foreign Correspondent and author will be dropping some serious knowledge about the world's hot spots. That's timely, given, you know, chaos in the Middle East, North Korea's nuclear ambitions and whatnot.

Thursday, Nov. 16

MUSIC | If you missed him at this year's Terrain, now's your chance to catch Spokane native Grant Eadie, aka Manatee Commune, do his thing at the Bartlett. Here's a little sample:

BEER | As if you needed a reason to hit Perry Street Brewing,  a Pray for Snow Party is a good one. Look outside — it's already working!

COMEDY | Rebecca Corry is one hilarious comedian and writer, and she kicks off a weekend of shows at Spokane Comedy Club tonight.

Friday, Nov. 17

COMMUNITY | The Inlander Winter Party, from 4 to 9 pm at the Spokane Convention Center (also on Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm), gives you a chance to get some screaming deals on equipment while sipping some delicious beverages, too.

MUSIC | The new Gonzaga Hip-Hop and Rap Club hosts Seattle rapper Travis Thompson, a young talent featured on Macklemore's Gemini album, along with locals Grxtty, Yung Kuan and $wang at a show at Cataldo Hall.

WORDS | EWU's Visiting Writer Series brings Darin Strauss to town for an event at Spark Central. Strauss is a recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship and a winner of the American Library Association’s Alix Award and The National Book Critics Circle Award. It's free.

FILM | The Banff Mountain Film Festival is always dope, and this year should be no exception. It's running at the Bing Friday through Sunday. Here's a trailer:

Saturday, Nov. 18

MUSIC | If it's a Mannheim Steamroller show, it must be close to Christmas. They play INB tonight.

MUSIC | Fat Lady brings the killer bluesy rock to every show they play, like tonight at the Observatory with Blue Canoe and Voltalux.
