Have a good time, but try to stay out of trouble at the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, mmmkay?
You can find a bevy of entertainment options in our event listings and staff picks, and we recommend you check them out often. Here are some highlights of the week ahead, heading toward St. Patrick's Day on Saturday:
Monday, March 12
BEER | Beerocracy hosts Total Eclipse of the Tart, a three-hour festival of rare, barrel-aged sour beers.
Tuesday, March 13
WORDS | Join current and former Spokane poet laureates to find your inner poet inspired by the stars. Starstruck: A Poetry Book Project of Astronomical Scale is a project where you'll get to visit the SFCC planetarium tonight before continuing the work next week.
Wednesday, March 14
BENEFIT | Ham on Regalcontinues its 2018 run tonight, inspired by The Wizard of Oz for this year's show at Ferris High School.
COMMUNITY | Spokane's own talk show Lilac City Live! returns to the downtown library tonight, where guests include Summer in Siberia (which includes the Inlander staffer and artist Justin Hynes) and KXLY's Kris Crocker. Yes, we have a particular rooting interest in this episode.
Friday, March 16
COMMUNITY | The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture continues its Titanic roll with a Third Class Titanic Bash, a party celebrating the poor folks on board the ship. Irish music, period attire and light food and adult beverages are all in store.
MUSIC | Super Sparkle and Blake Braley take over the Terrain stage tonight for what is sure to be a fun show. Here's a Super Sparkle vid to get you in the mood:
BEER | It's St. Patrick's Day, so after you've hit the parade in the morning, consider hitting the Garland Street pub crawl to celebrate into the night.
