Sometimes the best way to offset a Monday is by staring it the face, acknowledging its brutality, then getting out and about for some fun anyway. Plenty of options for that abound in our event listings and Staff Picks

Here are some highlights for Monday, April 13: 

FILM | The Bing is hosting a free screening at 6:30 pm of the excellent documentary Last Days in Vietnam, an incisive look at how that war ended that was directed by Rory Kennedy. Here's a look at the trailer:  

VISUAL ARTS | It's opening day for the North Idaho College fine arts student exhibition, running today through May 18.
