Monday, Oct. 9

FILM | For those of us who worship at the altar of Kurt Russell — and I KNOW I'm not alone here — The Thing is canon. It's also a great way to get yourself in the mood for the Halloween season, so go check it out at the Bing tonight. Here's a reminder of the goodness of the John Carpenter classic:


Tuesday, Oct. 10

WORDS | Humanities Washington's Think & Drink returns with "The Divided Library," an engaging conversation about the books and media that give us pause or a different perspective on a culture, religion, or social class to which we do not belong.

Wednesday, Oct. 11

MUSIC | Palehound brings deeply personal indie-rock to the Bartlett. Check out our interview with the band, and here's a video:
