National Geographic Live! comes to the INB on Tuesday night.

If you're looking for a way to take advantage of the almost-spring, take a gander at our event listings and Staff Picks every day for myriad options.

Here are a few highlights of the week ahead:

Monday, March 7

TRIVIA | Get thee to one of the most intimate trivia nights in town, but get there early because Bon Bon is tiny. Jones Radiator is a great trivia night as well, and again, you'll want to get there early. Both start at 7 pm.

Tuesday, March 8
WORDS | It's time for another edition of National Geographic Live!, this time featuring photographer Vincent Musi talking about Where The Wild Things Live. Expect some amazing wild animal portraiture.

Wednesday, March 9
SPORTS & OUTDOORS | REI hosts another of its valuable free classes, this time about Lightweight Backpacking Basics, just in time for the warm weather on the way.

LIVE BANDS | The Reverend Horton Heat is a guaranteed good time, as the trio rocks through old-school rockabilly and amped-up blues riffs. They're playing the Knit, along with Unknown Hinson, Legendary Shack Shakers and Lincoln Durham. Here's a taste of the Rev doing his thing:

Thursday, March 10

WORDS | Dog the Bounty Hunter pops up at the Coeur d'Alene Casino to take some photos, chat with fans and do whatever bounty hunters do off the clock.

LIVE BANDS | Umphrey's McGee bring their jammy tunes to Sandpoint for what is sure to be an epic show at The Hive. Read our interview with the band and consider a night of dancing non-stop.

Friday, March 11

COMMUNITY | Get an eyeful and mouthful of Nepal with a visit to the Corbin Senior Center for a Nepal Luncheon & Slide Show. Just $7.50 for a Nepalese feast.

Saturday, March 12

FOOD & DRINK | Prep for the St. Paddy's Day Parade with the 11th Annual Irish Drinking Team Pub Crawl, launching at 7 am at nYne.
